I expected to love this, being a fan of Dan Carlin’s podcast (if you can even call it that – more like a steady stream of multi-part audiobooks), “Hardcode History”. Instead of narrowing in on a particular time in history, this book is looking at many apocalyptic situations that have occurred. There was plenty of interesting material, especially once he got to the 20th century, but overall I found it less interesting than Hardcore History.
