From Father to Son

Dad gave me this for Christmas in 2000, and then I don’t know what happened to it. Then he gave it to me again this past Christmas, so I read it. It’s a collection of wise sayings from fathers to sons, such as:
Before you start a project, think hard about how you want it to end.
Do things right. You will never remember how much time it required once you're finished.
When you sit down at a table, put your napkin in your lap. Nobody is exactly certain what to do after that.
Envying what another man has never made any man rich.
